Frequently asked questions

What does "Pasture Raised" mean on your farm

To us, pasture raised doesn't mean simply having access to a pasture. It means our animals are actually raised outdoor on grass. They feel the wind. They smell the rain. They scratch, forage, root, and wallow in the grass and soil. They're able to do the things animals naturally want to do - because we believe that's what pasture raised should actually mean.

Do you use antibiotics, hormones, or vaccines?

Our chickens are raised without antibiotics, added hormones, or vaccines. Our pigs are raised without added hormones or vaccines. We don't routinely use antibiotics, but animal welfare comes first. If one of our pigs gets an infection and needs treatment, we'll treat it rather than allow an animal to suffer. We do not process an animal within 60 days of antibiotic treatment. Our goal is simple: raise healthy animals in an environment where routine medications aren't something we have to depend on.

Where can I pick up my order?
